SOLVET — PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 21 August 2026
Solvet respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what happens to the documents and images you submit.
Solvet is operated by Ayman Hamed.

- INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect your email address, name if provided by your sign-in provider, and an account identifier.
We use this information to create and manage your Solvet account.
If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email address, Solvet receives Apple's private relay address instead of your personal email address.
Documents and Images
When you choose to upload a PDF or image, or photograph a question, Solvet processes that content to identify questions and generate answers and explanations.
Please avoid submitting documents or images containing confidential, sensitive, or unnecessary personal information.
Saved Results
Solvet may save information generated from processed material, including:
• document name; • extracted questions; • generated answers; and • explanations.
This allows you to view previously processed material in your Saved Papers library.
Usage Information
We keep basic information needed to operate the service, such as the number of solves you have used and your remaining usage allowance.
Subscription Information
If you subscribe to Solvet Pro, we receive information needed to determine whether your subscription is active.
Payments made through the iOS app are processed by Apple. Solvet does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Diagnostics
Solvet may collect crash reports and diagnostic information when the app crashes or encounters an unexpected error.
This may include technical information such as the type of error, app version, device model, and operating system version.
This information is used to diagnose problems, improve reliability, and keep Solvet working correctly. It is not used for advertising or tracking.
- HOW DOCUMENTS AND IMAGES ARE PROCESSED
When you submit a document or image:
-
The content is uploaded for processing.
-
The content is sent to a third-party AI service to identify questions and generate answers and explanations.
-
After processing is completed, the original uploaded file is removed from Solvet's temporary file storage.
-
Generated questions, answers, explanations, and related information may be saved to provide features such as Saved Papers and previously processed results.
Some processed results may also be retained separately from your account to help avoid unnecessary repeat processing of the same material.
These separately retained results are not associated with your Solvet account and may remain after your account is deleted.
- HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use information collected through Solvet to:
• provide and operate the app; • process documents, images, and questions; • generate answers and explanations; • maintain your Saved Papers library; • manage your account and usage allowance; • manage subscription access; • diagnose crashes and technical problems; • improve app reliability; • provide customer support; and • maintain the security and reliability of the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use advertising networks in Solvet.
We do not use your submitted documents or images to train a machine-learning model of our own.
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Solvet relies on third-party service providers to operate parts of the app.
These may include services for:
• authentication, database, hosting, and temporary file storage; • AI processing; • crash reporting and diagnostics; • subscription management; and • payment processing.
Solvet uses RevenueCat to help manage subscription status and access to paid features.
Payments made through the iOS app are processed by Apple.
These service providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
Depending on the provider and your location, information may be processed on servers outside your country or region.
- DATA RETENTION
Original documents and images submitted for processing are removed from Solvet's temporary file storage after processing is completed.
Account information, Saved Papers, usage information, and other information associated with your account may be retained while your account remains active or as reasonably necessary to provide the service.
Some processed results may be retained separately from your account to help avoid unnecessary repeat processing. These results are not associated with your account and may remain after account deletion.
Diagnostic and crash information may be retained for a limited period as necessary to investigate technical problems and improve the reliability of the app.
We may also retain information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or protect the service.
- DELETING YOUR DATA
You can delete saved items from within Solvet.
You can also delete your Solvet account directly from Settings in the app.
Deleting your account removes personal account information, Saved Papers, usage information, and other data associated with your account, except where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, or operational purposes.
Processed results retained separately from your account may remain after account deletion because they are not associated with your account.
If you need help with your data or account deletion, contact: ayman3000@gmail.com
- YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You control which documents and images you choose to submit to Solvet.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion.
To make a privacy request, contact: ayman3000@gmail.com
- SECURITY
Solvet uses reasonable technical measures to protect your information.
Account authentication and access controls are used to protect account-specific information, and communication between the app and online services is encrypted in transit.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
- CHILDREN AND AGE REQUIREMENTS
Solvet may be used by students and other users of different ages.
If a user is under the age at which they can legally consent to the collection and processing of personal information in their country or region, Solvet should be used with the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
Solvet does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without the required consent, please contact: ayman3000@gmail.com
- CONTENT YOU SUBMIT
You should only submit documents, images, or other content that you own or are authorized or legally permitted to use.
You are responsible for the content you choose to submit to Solvet.
- AI-GENERATED RESULTS
Answers and explanations provided by Solvet are generated using artificial intelligence.
AI-generated results may occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading, particularly for complex questions, unclear documents, or unclear handwriting.
Solvet is intended to assist with reviewing and understanding question-based material. Important information should be independently verified.
- CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when Solvet's features, services, or data practices change.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated through the app when appropriate.
